LAUGFS Gas PLC is exploring strategic options for its wholly owned subsidiary LAUGFS Terminals Limited, which owns and operates a 30,000-metric-tonne liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) terminal at Hambantota International Port.
In a corporate disclosure to the Colombo Stock Exchange dated October 26, 2026, the company said it was engaged in preliminary, informal discussions with interested parties on possible arrangements involving the subsidiary.
The options under consideration include commercial collaboration, investment and the potential disposal of part or all of LAUGFS Gas’s shareholding in LAUGFS Terminals Limited.
However, the company stressed that no agreement had been reached on the structure or terms of any transaction, and no definitive transaction agreement had been signed.
“There is no certainty that these discussions will result in a transaction,” the disclosure stated, adding that the financial impact of any potential deal could not be determined at this stage.
LAUGFS Gas said it would promptly disclose any material developments in accordance with the listing rules of the Colombo Stock Exchange.
The disclosure was signed by P. D. H. Muthukumarana, Group Managing Director and Group Chief Executive Officer of LAUGFS Gas PLC.
