The Commercial Bank of Ceylon has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) to provide a range of concessionary financial facilities for Air Force officers and other ranks, reaffirming its commitment to supporting those who serve the nation.

The partnership, announced as the SLAF marks its 75th anniversary, will offer specially tailored financial products including personal loans, housing loans, leasing facilities and credit cards at preferential interest rates. Beneficiaries will also receive concessions on documentation charges, enabling them to access financial support on more favourable terms.

Commercial Bank said the initiative is designed to deliver affordable and flexible lending solutions that cater to the financial needs of Air Force personnel. A key feature of the programme is the ability to align repayments with individual income patterns, helping ensure long-term affordability and financial sustainability for service members and their families.

The collaboration reflects the Bank’s continued efforts to provide accessible financial solutions to key segments of society while recognising the vital role played by the SLAF in safeguarding the country’s security and sovereignty.

Commercial Bank, Sri Lanka’s largest private sector lender and a leader in digital banking, operates an extensive local and international network, with a presence in Bangladesh, the Maldives, Myanmar and the Dubai International Financial Centre.
